Nicole Zahn, DPM, MS, AACFAS, is board-qualified in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She practices at the Podiatry Institute of the South with offices in Senatobia, Mississippi, West Memphis, Arkansas, and Memphis, Millington, and Bartlett, Tennessee.
Dr. Zahn is a South Florida native who grew up in Lighthouse Point and attended Highlands Christian Academy. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree at Nova Southeastern University, where she majored in cellular and molecular biology and minored in mathematics and chemistry. In 2011, she earned a master’s degree in biomedical sciences and subsequently graduated from Barry University in Miami, Florida, with a doctoral degree in podiatric medicine and surgery in 2016.
Dr. Zahn is highly-specialized in peripheral nerve surgery, internal and external fixation, Charcot/diabetic limb salvage, reconstructive adult, and pediatric foot and ankle surgery.
Though Dr. Zahn has extensive and comprehensive training in lower extremity surgery, she remains focused on each patient as an individual with specific needs and expectations. She believes that, in most cases, conservative treatment options are paramount to surgery. Dr. Zahn feels that surgery should be reserved for cases where all conservative measures have failed otherwise.
Dr. Zahn values patent inimitability and strives to effectively and collectively identify the best treatment options according to the conditions, demands, and goals of her patient's lifestyles.
When she isn’t working, Dr. Zahn enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events (especially Gator football), cooking, rollerblading, and gardening.
